What Makes HEEP Unique?

Hybrid overview
One Full Enrichment Day Per Week
Students attend in-person at our local campus, where they:
  • Participate in 4 in-person classes
  • Learn from ACA At-Home teachers
  • Build friendships across grade levels
  • Experience chapel and morning devotions
  • Enjoy a structured, vibrant homeschool community
  • Receive core academic instruction
This weekly rhythm strengthens academic growth, spiritual formation, and peer connection.
As a shared-responsibility program, families are provided a Facilitator who will perform, at minimum, two in-person visits during the school year. This certified teacher will assist in program planning, assessment, and student progress tracking. Our Facilitators are also available throughout the school year for assistance, coaching, and to help your family in any way they can.

  • Monthly Chapel Services
  • Morning devotions
  • Worship, Scripture, prayer
  • Student testimony and sharing
  • Mixed-grade lunch tables led by older students
We are intentionally building a culture of mentorship, leadership, and spiritual growth. Parents are always welcome to attend chapel.

Technology & Learning Platforms:
  • Grades 1-8 use Google Classroom
  • Grade 9 uses Canvas (high school platform)
  • Each student receives an ACA At-Home email account
  • Emphasis is on hands on-embodied learning
  • Cell phones are not permitted during the school day (consistent with AB Ed regulations)

Funding Information: (Shared Responsibility Program)
Because HEEP is a Shared Responsibility Program, funding is adjusted.  Parents receive funding for the percentage of the program that they are responsible for, as detailed below:
(SUBJECT TO CHANGE FROM YEAR TO YEAR)
  • Grades 1–6: approximately 75%
  • Grades 7–8: approximately 71%
  • Grade 9:  approximately 56%
Parents are not funded for the in-school portion of instruction but can access reimbursement for approved home education expenses.
