Leah Day
​Science Teacher
Leah obtained her Education degree at Red Deer College through a collaborative program with the University of Alberta. She lives in Carstairs with her husband and three young children aged 6, 4, and 2. Leah and her family attend The Rock Community Church in Carstairs and are both actively involved in various ministries.

She taught Grade 5 for several years at Cremona School before beginning her part-time journey with ACA@Home. Leah also has teaching experience in various subjects from Grades 3-6. This will be her second year teaching at ACA! It is a great fit with her families schedule as she is able to spend most of her time at home with her young children and homeschool her oldest daughter.

​Leah strives to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for her students. She enjoys spending time outside in God's creation- whether that is going for walks, hiking in the mountains, or going for a horseback ride at the family farm. Leah is excited to get to know her students and will work collaboratively with home-educating families to help their child flourish academically and spiritually.
