Jill Doerksen
Middle Years Teacher
Jill graduated from Medicine Hat College with her Bachelor of Education through Mount Royal University. She also has a Bachelor in Biblical Studies from Millar College of the Bible. She’s taught for 3 years in Red Deer and has experience in creating skits and choreography along with coaching volleyball and basketball. Jill has a passion for teaching and seeing kids grow in the strengths and passions God has gifted them with. She is energetic and cares deeply for her students and Christian Education.

Jill lives in Sylvan Lake with her husband of 6 years, who is also a teacher in Sylvan Lake, along with their daughter (2.5 years) and son (6 months old). Jill attends Alliance Community church’s in Sylvan Lake where she helps out in the nursery on Sundays.

 She loves being with family and spending time on the boat waterskiing and wakeboarding. On rainy days she loves to paint, knit, read or exercise. Jill is excited to partner with parents and teachers in equipping students to be vessels for Jesus Christ and furthering His Kingdom.
