Crystal Dreyer

Crystal is a recent Bachelor of Education graduate from Mount Royal University. In her time as a post secondary student, Crystal has spent time growing in her teaching practice by tutoring students in literacy in addition to her practicum and field placements. She also had a wonderful opportunity to work as a research assistant to one of her professors in a study focusing on the literacy tutoring experiences of teacher candidates in the second year of the education program.

As a former homeschooling student, Crystal's experience found her naturally gravitating towards a teaching role as she helped her two younger brothers when they struggled with their school work. Although being a teacher was not in her original plan, the Lord has guided her through different experiences to where she is today. Crystal is walking on this path with a heart that desires to serve the Lord and bless others with the passions He has given her.  When Crystal is not working with students in the classroom, you can find her volunteering in children's ministries at her church or coaching young figure skaters and hockey players on the ice. Not only is she an active coach but she is also a skater on a synchronized skating team based out of Calgary.

Crystal is very excited to be joining a Christ centred educational community with ACA @Home. She looks forward to working with families and students in the upcoming school year.
